And somehow, that's always when the best images happen.
I've been taking photos for 12 years now, working with people who want something more than a polished result. They want images that actually feel like them — unhurried, unposed, and full of the small details that make their story theirs. That's what I show up to create every single time.
My work takes me everywhere from Miami to LA — intimate living rooms, overgrown fields, cobblestone streets at golden hour. Wherever we end up, my job is always the same: to make you forget the camera is there and just let the moment breathe.
My photography journey began because I wanted to capture the way the afternoon light falls, the second before someone laughs and the quiet that settles between two people.
I love myself a good sweet treat.
are always the ones worth keeping.
and coffee that actually deserves the cup it's served in.
and always open to wherever the work takes me.
I'd rather spend three unhurried hours with you than rush through six. The best images need room to happen.
Slow Down to See More
I don't need you to be anyone other than exactly who you are. My job is to create space where that feels easy — and then get out of the way.
No Performing Required
The images I love most are never the ones we planned. They're the exhale after the posed shot, the glance across the room, the quiet that happens when two people forget anyone is watching. That's what I'm always chasing.
The In-Between Moments
Authentic over perfect. Always.
"I was so nervous before our session — I always am in front of a camera. But within the first ten minutes I completely forgot Embrie was even there. When I saw the images I actually cried. They looked like me. The real me."
